Pet Portraits
Drawing animals and wildlife has been one of my passions since I was a teenager. I’m glad to be able to take my love of animal portraiture to a more professional level.
My animal portraits come in two standard sizes, the 8×8 square size for individual face portraits and the 9×12 for full body, or double pet portraits.
If you would like to have your portrait created on a size larger or simply different than what’s listed I’d be more than happy to help you find a size that works best for your commission.
My standard pet portraits are made in full color with brilliant Prismacolor Premier Pencils with details in Copic, Prisma, and Windsor & Newton Markers. The paper medium will be either Strathmore Mixed Media or Smooth Bristol.
The standard 8×8 square style portrait will cost $65. The 9×12 starts at $85. Shipping will be charged separately.
If you decide you would like to have your portrait made with me, please follow the link below to the Contact Form including the following information:
- Your name.
- The pet’s name and information and about the pet. (breed)
- The photos you would like me to use in reference for the illustration. Remember, when your pictures are of better quality I’ll be able to better capture the character of your pet. Better photos = better artwork.
- And also the size of portrait you had in mind, custom sizes are welcome too.
Once I get your information in I will let you know where you stand on the waiting list. When I get to your place I will send you an email and a Paypal invoice for 20% of the cost of your portrait. (Note: you do not need a Paypal account to pay an invoice.) Once that 20% is paid I will begin working on your illustration, pet portraits usually take about two to three weeks to finish depending on the size. I am payable through Venmo aswell.
After completion I will send you a scanned or photographed version of the piece to make sure everything is up to your expectations and then another invoice for the remaining amount due on the commission. Shipping will be discussed separately.
